How can I finance my studies with state aid?

What is the Mobility Grant?

The French government’s Mobility grant is awarded on the basis of social criteria to students studying or doing work experience abroad. It helps to reduce the cost of your international stay.

What is the Erasmus+ grant?

The Erasmus+ scheme offers financial aid, regardless of income, for your periods of study or work experience in Europe, in the partner countries of the programme.

The amount of the grant is capped and adjusted according to the standard of living in the host country. It varies according to your destination and the length of your stay.

Is INSEEC eligible for the CROUS scholarship?

Yes, the BBA and Grande Ecole programmes are authorised to accept students with government grants.

You can apply for the social criteria grant online from 15 January. You must submit your application to the CROUS of the academy in which you are currently enrolled.

To estimate the amount you can claim, a simulation service is available online.

What support is available for my home?

Is the school eligible for the APL grant?

This is financial aid granted to student tenants. All you have to do is apply to your CAF when you sign the lease.

Four criteria are used to calculate the APL:

  • The composition of your family
  • Your resources last year
  • The amount of your rent or mortgage repayments for your principal residence
  • The geographical location of the property

To find out how much you can get, a simulation system is available directly on the CAF website.

Does the school allow students to obtain a rental deposit?

The Visale guarantee, offered by Action Logement, provides students of legal age with a free rental deposit, regardless of income.

Managed by the CROUS, it is accessible in all the académies and facilitates access to all types of accommodation.

What is the first equipment allowance?

The initial equipment allowance is a one-off payment made to students to help finance the purchase of equipment needed for their training (computer, professional equipment, etc.).

This aid is awarded on the basis of social criteria and is applied for through the CROUS. The amount varies according to the student’s situation and the type of equipment required.

How can I finance my stay abroad?

Are work placements in France and abroad paid?

During their placements in France or abroad, students can find or negotiate remuneration.

In France, traineeships lasting more than two months must be paid at least €4.35 per hour, i.e. €670 per month (2025 scale).

Internationally, this obligation does not always exist. In such cases, companies often offer benefits in kind, such as accommodation, a travel card or payment for a visa.

What is the Study Mobility Passport?

The Study Mobility Passport entitles you, subject to certain conditions, to cover the cost of one return plane ticket per university or school year.

What other grants or financial aid is available?

What is the Jacques Lambert Foundation Grant (Fondation de France)?

The Jacques Lambert Foundation scholarship is awarded to young people admitted to the first year of a business school, selected on the basis of academic and social criteria. This scholarship is exclusively for students of French nationality.

What is the INSEEC Solidarity Fund?

Aid awarded to students on the Grande École and Bachelor programmes, on the basis of social and academic criteria and on the basis of applications.

INSEEC wants to promote equal opportunities and support students with high potential. The tuition fund has therefore been set up to support deserving students facing financial difficulties.

Procedure: applications must be renewed each year with the administrative team. Grants are awarded on the basis of social criteria, attendance and merit.

The amount awarded varies from €200 to €1,000 per student.

Does INSEEC offer exceptional discounts?

For French overseas departments and territories and the West Indies

Yes, there is a €750 discount for all competitive entrance examinations taken in the French overseas departments and territories in the year preceding your entry.

For siblings

Yes, a 10% discount is granted to students from the same sibling as long as they are all enrolled in an OMNES Education Group school.

For mentions at the baccalauréat

Yes, for the Bachelor’s programme, a 30% discount is granted in the first year to baccalaureate holders with a ‘Très bien’ distinction. This discount applies only to students of French nationality living in France, and only in the year in which they obtain their baccalauréat.
