The Executive DBA is not aimed at recruitment, but at accelerating established careers. Graduates mainly move into senior management roles, executive committees, high-level strategic boards or independent directorships.

These organisations are looking for experts capable of combining scientific rigour with strategic vision in the fields of management science, economics and law.

Admission is by application and interview with a committee made up of representatives of INSEEC Grande École and Assas Executive Education. Your application must include :

• Completed application form.
• Detailed CV showing your professional experience (minimum 5 years in Middle Management).
• Most recent degree obtained (minimum 5 years’ higher education in management, law or economics).
• Motivational statement explaining your doctoral project.
• 2-page preliminary research project presenting your subject of study.
• Letters of reference (maximum 3).

The interview assesses the relevance of your subject, your ability to carry out a doctoral study and your motivation.

The Executive DBA represents the highest level of professional training, well beyond an MBA or Master’s degree. Unlike an MBA, which develops general management skills, a DBA trains students to produce new scientific knowledge.

It enables you to transform your professional experience into rigorous applied research under the guidance of recognised research professors. This international training positions you as an academic and professional expert, capable of publishing in scientific journals and influencing management practices on a large scale.

The Executive DBA takes place over 36 months, with approximately 576 hours of work combining residential seminars and individual research. The format is designed for working executives: the seminars are organised in intensive sessions lasting a few days, allowing you to maintain your main professional activity.
