3000m2 of student experience
Completely renovated in 2023 in the building that historically belonged to the Société Économique, the Rennes Bretagne campus is located downtown. It is only a 5-minute walk from the train station and only 15 minutes from the historic heart of the city.
This modern and fully modular campus offers 3000m2 of spaces composed of :
- 3 floors
- 15 classrooms
- 1 modular amphitheater in 3 small amphitheaters
- 1 Fun Zone and 1 Zen Zone
- 1 dining area with meal dispensers at low prices
- 1 co-working
- Of the Bubble Brains
The Rennes Bretagne campus is entirely designed to offer our students and stakeholders exceptional learning conditions, worthy of the quality standards that a business school must offer. Thus, all the furniture is designed to be modular and adaptable to all the pedagogical innovations and initiatives that our students and faculty wish to undertake.
One of the characteristics of the Rennes Bretagne campus is that it also hosts three other schools from the OMNES Education group, in addition to INSEEC :
- HEIP (Higher International and Political Studies), School of Political Science
- ECE, engineering and computer science school
- Sup de Pub, school of communication and advertising
The presence of multiple schools in different disciplinary fields allows INSEEC students to benefit from innovative study pathways and hybridity within pedagogy. Indeed, many educational but also cultural events on the campus promote meetings and exchanges between the different schools. In addition, the pedagogical and digital platform Boostcamp allows INSEEC students to have access to all the courses delivered within these three other schools.
An eco-responsible campus
Rennes is a human-sized metropolis but also, and especially, for years now, a responsible city committed to the fight against global warming and ecological transition. It is also one of the 9 pilot territories working on the implementation of ISO 20 121 certification “Responsible International Destinations”. In this eco-citizen approach, the INSEEC campus in Rennes has committed to building an eco-responsible campus.

Practical information
How to come to Rennes and find the campus ?
Move to Rennes
The city of Rennes is served by a network of 2 metro lines and efficient buses : did you know that Rennes was historically for some years the smallest city in France to have a metro since 2006?
The transport network covering the agglomeration of Rennes is STAR. A student package from 18 to 26 years old is offered by the city, more information on the STAR website. This package offers access to the bus + metro network as well as unlimited access to the self-service bikes of the network.
The KorriGo transport card of the STAR service is unique in its kind in France: it allows to circulate not only in the agglomeration of Rennes Métropole, but also throughout Brittany thanks to various public transport packages on regular lines like Rennes / Saint-Malo for example.
It also offers access to many services: access to Rennes swimming pools, the Champs Libres, university libraries… Enough to prove that Rennes has all the assets to always remain faithful to the top 3 of the French cities where it is good to study !
Coming to Rennes by train
Rennes is located only 1h30 by TGV from Paris since the high-speed line was put into service in 2017. Nantes is also 1 hour from Rennes thanks to the historic TER line which offers 1 TER per hour during the day.
All the main stations in Brittany also serve Rennes station via the KorriGo Services card of the STAR service. Breton students can therefore easily come to study in Rennes without having to find accommodation there, as travel is quick and frequent.
Coming to Rennes by plane
Rennes Bretagne airport is an international hub that also hosts domestic connections. Located in the town of Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande, it is connected to the city center by bus line C6 which directly serves the airport at the stop “Aéroport”.
- By metro: From République, the nerve center of Rennes, it takes about 20 minutes to reach the airport. The airport is also accessible by metro from line B to the ‘Gaïté’ station, then take bus C6 to the same name stop.
In France, the national policy is to favor train trips at the expense of the plane if these can be done in less than 4 hours between the departure and arrival points.
Coming to the campus from the TGV station
The campus is ideally located 5 minutes from Rennes TGV station. You can easily come on foot or take the bus C3 at the ‘Gares’ stop and get off at the ‘Laënnec’ stop (1 station).
Coming to the campus by metro
Take the metro, line A or B to the stop «Gares», then 6/7 minutes walk to come to the campus.
Coming to the campus by bus
- Take the bus C3, stop «Laënnec», then 4 minutes of walk
- Bus lines 11, C1 and C2 also serve the campus: get off at the ‘Laënnec’ stop then a 4-minute walk
- The bus lines C4 and C6 can also serve the campus via the stop ‘Pont de Châteaudun’ but the walk is longer but also more pleasant since it runs along the Vilaine to the campus: 9 minutes of walking
Coming to the campus by car
The campus does not offer parking dedicated to students and speakers. The parking lot on Rue du Monseigneur Duchesne is located nearby to park if needed.
