Managing director: salary and career development
The job of Managing Director offers attractive remuneration, which rises significantly with experience. At the start of your career, you can expect to earn between €38,000 and €45,000 gross per annum. After a few years’ experience, this salary rises to €65,000, and can reach up to €120,000 gross per year for the most experienced profiles.
In addition, there are often significant benefits: company car, supplementary health insurance, variable bonuses amounting to 15-20% of the basic salary, and reduced working hours. Your career prospects will take you into general management, deputy CEO positions or strategic functions in large organisations.
