As a supplier accountant, you will work at the heart of the accounts department of companies of all sizes. You will work on a daily basis with the purchasing, legal and finance departments. This strategic position gives you a global view of economic issues. Reporting to the accounts manager or chief accountant, you will regularly interact with external suppliers. Supplier accountant: salary and career development
As a supplier accountant, you’ll earn an attractive salary with good career prospects. At the start of your career, you can expect to earn €26,000 gross per annum. After a few years’ experience, this salary rises to €34,000 gross per annum, rising to €40,000 gross per annum by the end of your career.
In addition, there are often significant benefits: luncheon vouchers, company health insurance, performance bonuses and reduced working hours. Your career prospects will take you to positions such as accounts payable manager, chief accountant or management controller, with salaries of up to €50,000 a year.
