Linda Attari, Director of the MSc Data Analytics and Digital Pole programme at INSEEC Lyon, explains the benefits of an Open Data course for her students.
Students Pierre Gaglio, Paul Blanc and Rayane Benslama share their experiences of this Open Data project.
This project aims to use public data to solve real problems encountered by customers. By setting up predictive models, INSEEC students are transforming this data into valuable, accessible information that can be used to make informed decisions.
Supported by major players such as the head of Enedis, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Digital Affairs and France Compétences, the students are also working on a project to forecast climate change, using data from Météo France.
This project has a dual purpose: it allows students tohave a project in line with their values and it also allows them to validate a block of skills.
