In response to growing water stress and the increasing scarcity of drinking water resources, OMNES Education is stepping up its environmental commitment with a new initiative: the “Green Game Water” competition, launched last May by the Group’s CSR department.
A fun and committed challenge until August
Conceived as a way of raising awareness, this competition mobilises all OMNES Education campuses around a common objective: to make concrete reductions in their water consumption. Each month, thematic challenges and practical advice are offered to encourage students, teaching staff and employees to adopt more responsible actions.
Because no, summer thunderstorms are not enough to offset the effects of long-term drought! Now, more than ever, is the time to act, and this collective mobilisation is the first concrete and educational response to the challenges of climate change.
A special programme from INSEEC MSc: “Au fil de l’eau” (As the water flows)
As part of this drive, INSEEC MSc Paris has launched a new awareness-raising programme called “Au fil de l’eau”, presented by Claire Souvigné, Director of the school.
The programme is divided into two parts:
- A round table bringing together experts and committed speakers: Pierre-Louis Rio, Abdou Belarbi, Aurélie Roumpos Scasso, Stéphanie Parisot, Mathilde Chaix and Muriel Cordier, to discuss the issues surrounding water in our societies and schools;
- An immersive report on the water footprint of INSEEC students, revealing a level of consumption that is often underestimated… but well above the recommended average!
Raising awareness for better action
This programme makes the invisible visible, by illustrating the real impact of our daily habits on water resources. It marks a key stage in the “Water Green Game”, combining information, awareness and practical commitment.
OMNES Education is pursuing its ambition to train enlightened citizens capable of taking action for a more sustainable future.
