Our history
Creation of Inseec
José Soubiran, a French businessman and Knight of the Legion of Honor, founded INSEEC with the ambition of training leaders capable of transforming the business world. His pioneering spirit and dedication laid the solid foundations for the school’s current success.
Expansion to the City of Light
INSEEC opened a school in Paris, thereby strengthening its reputation for academic excellence. Paris, city of light and business center, attracted ambitious students and renowned professors. Since then, INSEEC has become a key player in higher education in France.
Opening up to the world
INSEEC established its BBA programs in Lyon and Bordeaux to train students for international careers.
We arrive in the Com’
Sup de Pub, formerly Havas’ corporate university, joins the INSEEC group.
Recognition as a Grande École
INSEEC became a Grande École, joining the Conférence des Grandes Écoles. This recognition affirmed our commitment to offering high-level education. Since then, we have been training visionary leaders ready to take on the challenges of the business world.

INSEEC U. et AMBA
In 2017, the INSEEC group was renamed INSEEC U. This new identity reflects our ambition to become a global player in higher education. That same year, INSEEC Grande Ecole obtained AMBA accreditation, a prestigious recognition that attests to the quality of its programs.
Valued at one billion
INSEEC U. has been valued at nearly one billion euros, becoming France’s first higher education unicorn. This valuation reflects our growth and significant impact in education.
