What is a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication and Events?
This Bachelor’s degree, which is RNCP level 6 certified by the French Ministry of Employment, provides training for careers in marketing, communications and event management. The first two years consolidate the fundamentals of management and digital, while the third year enables students to specialise and become more professional. This comprehensive course prepares students to design, manage and promote innovative communication projects.
Professional certification
Level 6 (EU) professional certification for Marketing Communication Project Managers, NSF code 312, awarded by INSEEC Bachelor and registered under number RNCP38605 on the Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles (RNCP) by decision of the Director General of France Compétences.

1ʳᵉ year
60 ECTS credits
In the first year, INSEEC’s Bachelor in Marketing, Communication and Events offers a generalist course combining corporate culture, management, communication, marketing, languages and digital tools. This solid foundation enables students to understand the fundamentals of marketing and communication before specialising. In addition to the core courses, students will have 20% of specialisation courses.

2ᵉ year

In the second year, the Marketing, Communication and Events Bachelor programme builds on the knowledge acquired and strengthens operational skills. Students learn how to design marketing strategies, manage corporate communications and run events projects, while developing their managerial culture and professional autonomy. In addition to the core courses, students will have 30% of specialisation courses.

3ᵉ year – Core curriculum

In the third year, the Marketing, Communication and Events Bachelor programme focuses on professionalisation and the development of managerial skills. Students learn how to steer a company strategy, manage a team and manage a budget, while consolidating their communication, project management and leadership skills.

3ᵉ year – Specialisation course
The third year enables students to specialise in marketing, communication and events. The programme combines a strategic approach, creativity and mastery of professional tools to design, promote and manage high added-value projects.

Assessment procedures
The three years of the Marketing, Communication and Events Bachelor’s programme alternate theoretical learning, practical projects and professional immersion. Each semester corresponds to 30 ECTS credits, giving a total of 180 ECTS credits at the end of the course.
Throughout the course, students are assessed by continuous assessment, individual and group work, case studies, professional orals and tutored projects. These assessments are designed to measure progress in marketing strategy, communication, project management and management skills.
In the third year, skills are validated in professional blocks, in accordance with the RNCP38605 – Marketing Communication Project Manager reference framework. This final assessment takes the form of re-enacted professional situations:
- case study or company file ;
- communication project simulation ;
- oral presentation to a panel of judges ;
- professional practice dissertation.
The entire assessment system ensures that future marketing and communication professionals develop their skills gradually and are put into real-life situations.
