What is an International Business Bachelor?
INSEEC’s Bachelor of International Business, which is RNCP level 6 certified, trains professionals capable of managing the commercial development of a company abroad. The first two years consolidate the foundations in business, management and languages, while the third year reinforces international specialisation and intercultural skills.
Professional certification
Level 6 (EU) professional certification for Commercial Activity Managers, NSF code 312, awarded by INSEEC Bachelor, registered under number RNCP38604 in the Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles (RNCP), by decision of the Director General of France Compétences.
Objectives and skills
The aim of the Bachelor of International Business is to train professionals capable of developing, negotiating and managing commercial activities on a global scale. Students acquire a strategic vision of international business and the skills needed to operate in a multicultural and competitive environment.

The content
The teaching in the International Business Bachelor’s programme evolves each year to adapt to changes in world trade, new negotiation practices and intercultural issues. The courses presented below are given as examples and may vary depending on the campus. Each new academic year, the programme is updated to keep pace with the needs of the market and the realities of international business.
1ʳᵉ year
60 ECTS credits
In the first year, INSEEC’s Bachelor of International Business offers a generalist course that teaches the fundamentals of business, management and marketing. Students learn about the challenges of globalisation, develop their language skills and become familiar with the digital tools that are essential for managing international activities. In addition to the core courses, students will have 20% of specialisation courses.

2ᵉ year

In the second year, the Bachelor’s in International Business takes an in-depth look at the basics of business, management and marketing, while integrating the international dimension. Students strengthen their skills in negotiation, intercultural communication and international project management, while developing an understanding of global markets. In addition to the core courses, students will have 30% of specialisation courses.

3ᵉ year – Core curriculum

In the third year, INSEEC’s Bachelor of International Business focuses on strategy, management and performance management in a globalised context. Students develop their ability to manage projects, lead multicultural teams and analyse international economic issues. This pivotal year combines professionalism, autonomy and an international outlook.

3ᵉ year – Specialisation course
The third year of specialisation in the International Business Bachelor’s programme prepares students to manage and develop commercial activities on a global scale. This course focuses on understanding foreign markets, mastering import-export operations and adapting strategies to cultural and geopolitical contexts.

Assessment procedures
The three years of the Bachelor of International Business alternate between acquiring fundamental knowledge, putting it into practice through case studies and work experience in a company. Each semester is worth 30 ECTS credits, giving a total of 180 ECTS credits at the end of the programme.
Students are assessed throughout the course through continuous assessment and final examinations. These assessments may take the form of presentations, group projects, real-life case studies, individual files, work placements or oral presentations. This approach guarantees a comprehensive assessment of the skills acquired in the fields of commerce, management and international strategy.
In the third year, professional certification is based on an assessment of blocks of skills, in accordance with RNCP reference no. 38604 – Responsable d’activités commerciales. Students are assessed on their ability to :
- Developing and managing an international sales project.
- Develop a strategy for expanding into new markets.
- Manage customer and partner relations abroad.
- Analysing sales performance and presenting the results.
Assessment takes place mainly in the classroom, in the form of continuous assessment or mid-term exams, and also includes a defence of the professional practice dissertation, enabling the experience gained throughout the course to be put to good use.

What are the entry requirements for the Bachelor’s in International Business?
Admission to 1st year
- Accessible to students who hold or are in the process of obtaining the baccalauréat (all subjects), a Diplôme d’Accès aux Études Universitaires (DAEU) or an equivalent foreign diploma.
- Application outside Parcoursup, via the online application form on the INSEEC website.
Admission to 2nd year
- Open to students who have validated or are in the process of validating a 1ʳᵉ year of higher education (BTS, BUT, Licence 1, preparatory class or equivalent).
- Application outside Parcoursup, to be submitted directly on the school’s website.
Admission to 3rd year
- Accessible to students who have validated or are in the process of validating a 2ᵉ or 3ᵉ year of higher education (BTS, BUT, Licence 2 or equivalent), i.e. 120 ECTS credits.

Yes, sandwich courses are offered from year 3ᵉ onwards. This format (generally 3 days classroom / 2 days company) prepares you to evolve in the world of international business by combining theory and practice. INSEEC assists each student in finding a host company thanks to its many partnerships.
