What is a Master’s Degree in Luxury Brand Management?
INSEEC’s Grande École programme offers the Luxury Brand Management specialisation, which prepares you for careers in luxury brand management and brand asset management. This course confers a Master’s degree (equivalent to Bac+5) recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research and is RNCP level 7 certified. The course is taught entirely in English and will enable you to master the codes and strategies of the luxury industry, offering you excellent career prospects in this exceptional sector.
Diploma and professional certification
This state-approved degree confers a Master’s grade and has been AMBA accredited since 2016, guaranteeing its recognition in France and internationally.
Professional certification as an Innovative Projects Manager level 7 (EU), NSF code 310, awarded by INSEEC Grande École, registered under number 41044 on the RNCP (Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles) by decision of the Director General of France Compétences.
Objectives and skills
The aim of the Luxury Brand Management Master’s degree is to train managers capable of driving brand strategies in the demanding world of luxury, while preserving the heritage and excellence that characterise this sector.

The content
The courses are taught on the Paris campus. The programme, taught entirely in English, is regularly updated to reflect changes in the luxury sector and the expectations of prestigious companies.
1ʳᵉ year (Level L3)
60 ECTS credits – 568 hours (initial) – 488 hours (sandwich course)
This first year establishes the fundamentals of management and develops your understanding of the international challenges facing the luxury industry. The international dimension adapts to your pace: on a sandwich course, you spend a week immersed in London; on a traditional course, you study for 2 months on the London campus before starting your work placement.

2ᵉ year (M1 level)
60 ECTS credits – 428 hours (initial) – 436 hours (sandwich course)
The second year develops your managerial skills and introduces you to the specifics of the luxury sector. This second year can be spent on a sandwich course. If you opt for the traditional route, you first choose your pre-specialisation (September-December). Then you have the opportunity to study abroad at a partner university (January-May), before doing a long-term placement of at least 2 months in a company (from June).

3ᵉ year (Level M2) – Core curriculum
60 ECTS credits – 238 hours (initial) – 406 hours (sandwich course)
The core curriculum hones your strategic and ethical skills in the context of the creative and luxury industries. This final year is available as a sandwich course. In the traditional route, you complete your specialisation. You can also opt for a double degree abroad (September-December). Finally, you do your end-of-studies placement of at least 6 months (January-August), which is validated by the Grand Oral and the defence of your applied research dissertation.

What are the admission requirements for the Master’s degree in Luxury Brand Management?
Admission to 1st year (Level L3)
- Accessible to students holding or in the process of obtaining a BUT, BTS, Licence 2, RNCP level 5 certified qualification (Bac +2), or enrolled in 2ᵉ year of IEP.
- Admission via the Evolution 1 competitive entrance examination (application + oral tests).
- A good level of English is required to follow the courses entirely in English.
Admission to 2nd year (M1 level)
- Open to students who have completed or are in the process of completing a Licence 3, Bachelor’s degree, Master 1, engineering degree or level 6/7 RNCP-certified qualification attesting to at least 3 years of higher education.
- Admission via the Evolution 2 competitive entrance examination (application + oral tests).
- An advanced level of English is required for this international course.
