What is an MSc Expert in Real Estate Management?
The MSc Expert in Real Estate Management prepares students for careers in property development, asset management and investment. It is RNCP level 7 certified by the Ministry of Employment. The first year lays the foundations in real estate finance, law and project management. The second year develops expertise in asset management, property valuation and asset strategies. This professionally-oriented programme prepares students to lead real estate projects and manage asset portfolios in all market segments.
Professional certification
Level 7 (EU) professional certification in Real Estate Management, NSF code(s) 313, awarded by INSEEC MSc, registered under number 41117 on the RNCP (Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles) by decision of the Director General of France Compétences.
Objectives and skills
The aim of the MSc Expert in Real Estate Management is to train professionals capable of managing complex real estate transactions and assets. You will learn how to value properties, set up development projects and optimise the financial and tax management of real estate assets.

The courses
The courses presented below are given as examples and may vary slightly depending on the teaching campus. The content of the courses is adapted each year to take account of regulatory developments and changes in the property market.
The pace of courses may differ from campus to campus and depending on whether the course is being run under a work placement agreement (initial) or a professionalization/apprenticeship contract (continuing).
The work-study contract must be signed for a period of 12 months (MSc 2) or 24 months (MSc1 + MSc 2).

Assessment procedures
The two years of the programme combine the transmission of specialised knowledge and experimentation in a professional context, open to both initial and sandwich training.
Course validation
- Each year is validated by the acquisition of 60 ECTS credits.
- MSc certification is obtained by successfully completing the two years in succession, equivalent to 120 ECTS credits.
- All blocks of skills must be fully capitalised before certification can be awarded.
- Full validation of all blocks requires a mark of at least 10/20 for each skill.
- Partial block validation is not permitted.
Conditions for obtaining certification
- It is essential to validate four blocks of cross-disciplinary skills that are the same for all courses.
- Professional internship of at least 132 days during the second year (MSc 2) for candidates undergoing initial training.
Assessment procedures
Your progressive mastery of skills is checked regularly throughout the course through :
- Continuous assessment and final exams delivered face-to-face.
- Deciphering real estate cases dealt with individually and/or in groups.
- Individual and/or group oral submissions.
- Individual and/or team written documents.
- Applied projects and actions in a real-life professional environment.
- An applied research dissertation exploring a property management issue, defended before a professional and academic jury (in the second year).
