What is an MSc International Financial Analyst?
The MSc International Financial Analyst prepares students for careers in financial analysis and corporate valuation. The first year is devoted to the fundamentals of finance and accounting, followed by a second year focusing on the analysis of financial data, risk management and financial communication. This programme has a strong professional dimension and is aimed at analytical and strategic functions in an international context, while also including preparation for AMF certification.
Professional certification
Level 7 (EU) “Expert in Financial Strategy” professional certification, NSF codes 313 and 314, awarded by “INSEEC MSc” (CEE-RA, CEE-SO, CEFAS, MBA INSTITUTE, CEE-OUEST, CEE-Méditerrannée, ADEFI), registered under number 40177 on the RNCP (Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles) by decision of the Director General of France Compétences dated 31/01/2025.
Objectives and skills
The MSc International Financial Analyst is designed to train experts capable of assessing the financial situation of companies, analysing their performance and formulating strategic recommendations in an international environment.

Assessment procedures
The two years of the programme combine phases of skills acquisition and periods of practical work experience, in both initial and sandwich courses.
Course validation
- Each year is validated by the award of 60 ECTS credits.
- Progression through the MSc programme is achieved by validating each year in turn, i.e. 120 ECTS credits acquired at the end of the two years of the programme.
- Certification is awarded by capitalising on all the skill blocks.
- Each skill in a block must be confirmed to obtain the block of skills (a mark of 10/20 or higher is required for each block).
- Partial validation of a block is not possible.
Conditions for obtaining certification
- Validation of all the skill blocks common to all the courses.
- An in-company period of at least 132 days in the second year of the programme (MSc 2) for students on initial training.
Assessment procedures
Throughout the programme, regular assessments are carried out to measure progress in the following areas:
- Continuous assessment and final exams in the form of face-to-face mid-term exams.
- Individual and/or group case studies.
- Individual and/or group oral presentations.
- Individual and/or group files.
