Our teaching methods
What is INSEEC BBA’s teaching approach?
Joining INSEEC’s BBA means choosing a four-year international programme, taught in English and designed to develop progressive expertise. Each year combines academic courses, projects, internships and multicultural experience to prepare you for a career without borders.
1ʳᵉ year
Discovering the fundamentals and opening up to international markets
From the first year, you consolidate your post-baccalaureate knowledge and explore the major disciplines: finance, business, marketing and management. Most of the courses are taught in English, and you may be offered your first opportunity to immerse yourself in an international environment, through an internship for example.
2ᵉ year
Deepening skills and broadening horizons
The second year allows you to strengthen your foundations and begin to move towards a specialisation. You will develop analytical and operational skills, with group projects, case studies and a work placement to give you hands-on experience.
3ᵉ year
Choosing your specialisation and professionalising your career path
From the third year onwards, you can choose to specialise in finance, data, marketing or business. The courses are more technical and operationally oriented. You can take part in a work-study programme or a long-term placement to gain solid experience.
4ᵉ year
International and career planning
The final year consolidates your expertise and marks a strong international opening, with the possibility of a semester abroad. You will specialise further and actively prepare for your professional integration through work-study, a long-term internship and the support of the alumni network.

Professionalise yourself during your studies

FAQ
Everything you need to know about the BBA
How long does a BBA INSEEC last?
The INSEEC BBA is a 4-year degree, equivalent to Bac+4. This progressive programme combines academic teaching, work placements, sandwich courses and immersion abroad, with courses in English.

What is the difference between an INSEEC BBA and an equivalent public diploma?
The BBA is geared towards international business, practical experience and work experience. A public course such as a Bachelor’s degree is more academic and less professional.
What should you choose between a BBA and a Bachelor’s degree in business school?
The BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) and Bachelor’s degrees are both available after the baccalauréat and take 3 to 4 years to train students in the fundamentals of management, marketing and sales. However, the BBA is distinguished by :
- A stronger international dimension (courses in English, semesters abroad).
- More immersive teaching methods (work placements, sandwich courses, practical projects).
- Specific recognition (accredited diploma, RNCP title, Anglo-Saxon format).
Both allow you to go on to a Master’s degree or to enter the job market directly. The choice depends on your plans: an international career (BBA) or a more generalist course (Bachelor).
What studies are possible after an INSEEC BBA?
After a BBA, students can go on to a Master’s, MSc or MBA. INSEEC offers several options in France and abroad.
