Students in INSEEC MSc ‘s Master 2 in Sports Management had the opportunity to visit the legendary Stade de France, an iconic venue for French sport and culture. The visit was part of their academic programme, aimed at enhancing their knowledge of sports event and infrastructure management.
Immersion at the heart of sport
Accompanied by their teachers, the students began their visit with a presentation on the history of the Stade de France, which opened in 1998. This stadium, which has hosted prestigious events such as the Football World Cup and internationally renowned concerts, has established itself as a symbol of sport in France.
Behind the scenes
The students had the chance to go behind the scenes of the stadium, including the players’ changing rooms, the pitch and the presidential stand. This immersion enabled them to understand the organisation and logistics involved in hosting large-scale events. The explanations provided by the guide enriched their understanding of the issues involved in managing a sports facility.
