What is a Bachelor’s degree in Luxury?
INSEEC’s Bachelor’s degree in Luxury, with RNCP level 6 certification, trains students for management, marketing and communication careers in the luxury, fashion and beauty sectors. This professional programme combines industry culture, business practice and creativity to prepare students for demanding international careers.
Professional certification
Level 6 (EU) professional certification for Commercial Activity Managers, NSF code 312, awarded by INSEEC Bachelor, registered under number RNCP38604 in the Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles (RNCP), by decision of the Director General of France Compétences.
Objectives and skills
The aim of the Bachelor in Luxury is to train professionals capable of understanding, managing and developing the marketing and sales strategies specific to luxury brands.

The content
Bachelor Luxe courses are designed to be constantly adapted to market developments and trends in the sector. The courses presented below are given as examples and may vary depending on the campus. Each year, the programme is updated to offer training that is in line with the requirements of luxury, fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands.
1ʳᵉ year
60 ECTS credits
In the first year, INSEEC’s Bachelor of Luxury offers a generalist course which enables students to acquire the basics of management, marketing and communication, while discovering the specificities of the luxury sector. Students develop their initial professional skills through group projects and real-life situations. In addition to the core courses, students will have 20% of specialisation courses.

2ᵉ year
60 ECTS credits
In the second year, INSEEC’s Bachelor Luxe programme deepens students’ knowledge of management, marketing and administration, while strengthening their understanding of the economic and cultural issues specific to the luxury sector. Students learn to manage sales initiatives, understand the codes of prestigious brands and adapt their communication to a demanding clientele. In addition to the core courses, students will have 30% of specialisation courses.

3ᵉ year – Core curriculum
60 ECTS credits – Professional training
In the third year, INSEEC’s Bachelor in Luxury enables students to specialise in strategy, management and communication applied to the world of luxury. This final year focuses on professionalisation, work-study and practical projects in partnership with companies in the sector. Students develop the strategic and operational vision they need to work in demanding international environments.

3ᵉ year – Specialisation course
The third year of specialisation in the Bachelor Luxe programme plunges students into the heart of the strategic, cultural and operational issues facing the major luxury houses and premium brands. It enables them to acquire a complete mastery of the codes of the sector, from customer relations to international project management, including communications and digital.

Assessment procedures
The three years of the Bachelor Luxe programme alternate between acquiring fundamental knowledge, putting it into practice through real projects and periods of immersion in companies. Each semester is validated by 30 ECTS credits, for a total of 180 ECTS credits at the end of the course.
Each training module is regularly assessed, either in writing or orally, individually or collectively. These assessments take the form of continuous assessments, case studies, group projects, oral presentations and final exams (mid-term exams).
In the third year, professional certification is based on assessment in blocks of skills, in accordance with RNCP reference no. 38604. Students are assessed on the basis of real-life professional situations:
- designing and implementing a sales or marketing project ;
- developing a brand strategy or communication plan ;
- budget steering and performance management ;
- defence of a professional practice dissertation.
These methods enable us to measure students’ ability to apply their knowledge and skills in real-life situations, and to adapt to the demands of the luxury sector, where rigour, creativity and operational excellence are essential.

What are the entry requirements for the Bachelor’s in Luxury?
Admission to 1st year
- Accessible to students who hold or are in the process of obtaining the baccalauréat (all subjects), a Diplôme d’Accès aux Études Universitaires (DAEU) or an equivalent foreign diploma.
- Applications are made outside Parcoursup, directly via the online form on the INSEEC website.
Admission to 2nd year
- Open to students who have validated or are in the process of validating a 1ʳᵉ year of higher education studies in the same field (BTS, BUT, Licence 1, preparatory class or equivalent).
- Application outside Parcoursup, to be submitted online.
Admission to 3rd year
- Accessible to students who have validated or are in the process of validating a 2ᵉ or 3ᵉ year of higher education in the same field (BTS, BUT, Licence 2, or equivalent), i.e. 120 ECTS credits.
- Admissions are made outside Parcoursup, using the online application form.

Is it possible to do a sandwich course during the INSEEC Bachelor Luxe?
Yes, the Bachelor Luxe is open to sandwich courses from the 3ᵉ year. This format (3 days classroom / 2 days company) allows you to apply the knowledge acquired in management, marketing and sales techniques, while discovering the requirements of the luxury sector.
How long does the INSEEC Bachelor Luxe course last?
The INSEEC Bachelor of Luxury takes one to three years to complete, depending on the year of entry:
- Entry in year 1ʳᵉ: accessible after the bac, to follow the entire three-year course.
- Entry to year 2ᵉ: open to holders of a Bac +1, for a two-year course.
- Entry in 3ᵉ year: possible after a baccalaureate +2, for an intensive one-year specialisation in the field of luxury.
Is the INSEEC Bachelor Luxe recognised by the State?
Yes, the diploma awarded on completion of the Bachelor Luxe is certified by the French State and is registered on the Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles (RNCP) at level 6, under the title Responsable d’activités commerciales.
What studies are possible after a Bachelor’s degree in Luxury?
After this course, students can continue on to a Master of Science (MSc) or a Grande Ecole programme, in fields such as luxury marketing, brand management or international communications.
