What is a Bachelor Sport Business – Sport Études?
INSEEC’s Bachelor Sport Business – Sport Études, certified RNCP level 6 by the French Ministry of Employment, provides training in management, sales and marketing in the world of sport. The first two years lay the foundations of management, communication and administration, while the third year enables students to specialise in sports business. This unique programme combines academic excellence with practical experience of sport, preparing students for a dynamic career at the crossroads of sport and management.
Professional certification
Level 6 (EU) professional certification for Commercial Activity Managers, NSF code 312, awarded by INSEEC Bachelor, registered under RNCP number 38604 on the Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles, by decision of the Director General of France Compétences.
Objectives and skills
The aim of the Bachelor Sport Business – Sport Études is to train professionals capable of managing, developing and promoting commercial activities and events in the sports sector.

1ʳᵉ year
60 ECTS credits
In the first year, INSEEC’s Bachelor Sport Business – Sport Études lays the foundations of management, marketing and communication applied to the world of sport. Students discover how business, distribution and company management work, while developing their commercial know-how and interpersonal skills.
This year also introduces students to the culture of sport and associations, with a balance between study, sport and professional development. In addition to the core courses, students will have 20% of specialisation courses.

2ᵉ year

In the second year, INSEEC’s Bachelor Sport Business – Sport Études consolidates what was learned in the first year and develops a more strategic approach to sports business and marketing. Students learn to steer a sales action plan, manage teams and lead projects in the world of sport.
This year also reinforces our mastery of digital tools and communication techniques, which are essential if we are to evolve in a rapidly changing sector.
In addition to the core courses, students will have 30% of specialisation courses.

3ᵉ year

In the third year, INSEEC’s Bachelor of Sport Business – Sport Études enables students to specialise in sports management, communication and marketing. Students deepen their legal and commercial knowledge, learn how to run sports events, manage partnerships and master the sector’s digital strategies. The final year aims to develop the overall expertise needed to work in sports organisations, agencies or companies involved in the sports economy.

Assessment procedures
The three years of the Bachelor Sport Business – Sport Etudes alternate between theoretical learning, practical application and individual student support. Each semester is validated by the award of 30 ECTS credits, giving a total of 180 ECTS credits at the end of the course.
Throughout the course, students are assessed on an ongoing basis through individual and group written and oral assessments, reflecting the skills expected in business, marketing and sports management. These regular assessments measure progress and the ability to apply the concepts studied to real-life situations.
In the third year, an assessment leading to certification in blocks of skills is organised, in line with the RNCP 38604 – Commercial Activities Manager qualification. The tests are based on real-life professional situations:
- case studies and simulations ;
- events and commercial projects ;
- dossiers d’analyse stratégique ;
- oral examinations and professional practice dissertations.
Assessments are based on continuous assessment and final exams in the form of mid-term exams, guaranteeing regular monitoring of learning and a gradual build-up of skills through to final certification.

- This programme is aimed at top-level sportspeople from all disciplines, whether individual or team-based, who want to combine study with intensive practice.
- Open to students who have validated or are in the process of validating a 1ʳᵉ year of higher education (BTS, BUT, Licence 1, preparatory class or business school).
- Application outside Parcoursup, to be made on the INSEEC website.
Admission to 3rd year
- This programme is aimed at top-level sportspeople from all disciplines, whether individual or team-based, who want to combine study with intensive practice.
- Reserved for students who have validated or are in the process of validating a 2ᵉ year (BTS, DUT/BUT, Licence 2, or equivalent), i.e. 120 ECTS credits.
- Application outside Parcoursup, to be submitted directly on the INSEEC website.
