What is an MSc Director of Healthcare Establishments?
The MSc Director of Healthcare Institutions provides training for management positions in the medico-social and healthcare sectors. It is RNCP level 7 certified by the Ministry of Employment. The pace of courses may differ from campus to campus and depending on whether the course is being run under a work placement agreement (initial) or a professionalization/apprenticeship contract (continuing).
The work-study contract must be signed for a period of 12 months (MSc 2) or 24 months (MSc1 + MSc 2).

Assessment procedures
The two years of the programme combine expertise in healthcare management with work placements in healthcare facilities, available for both initial and sandwich courses.
Course validation
- Each level requires 60 ECTS credits to be certified.
- The MSc degree is awarded on successful completion of the two years, totalling 120 ECTS credits.
- To be awarded the qualification, all blocks of skills must be fully consolidated.
- Each block requires complete success with a minimum threshold of 10/20 for all the skills assessed.
- Partial validation of a block is not possible.
Conditions for obtaining certification
- Mastery of four equivalent blocks of cross-disciplinary skills is required for all courses.
- A minimum of 132 days in a healthcare establishment during the second year (MSc 2) for participants on initial training.
Assessment procedures
Your learning path is rigorously monitored throughout the entire programme via :
- Regular face-to-face checks and summative assessments.
- Examinations of individual and/or group health situations.
- Individual and/or team oral presentations.
- Individual and/or group written reports.
- Field and practical studies in healthcare establishments.
- An applied research dissertation examining a problem in the management of healthcare establishments, defended before a jury of hospital and university professionals (in the second year).
