What is the RNCP Expert in Financial Strategy professional qualification?
Level 7 (EU) ” Expert in Financial Strategy ” professional certification, NSF codes 313 and 314, awarded by INSEEC MSc (CEE-SO, CEE-RA, CEFAS, CEE-M, CEE-OUEST, MBA INSTITUTE, ADEFI FORMATION), registered under number 40177 in the RNCP (Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles) by decision of the Director General of France Compétences on 31 January 2025.

Certification is obtained by :
- Validation of four blocks of skills common to all courses (a mark of 10/20 or higher in each block of skills)
- A minimum of 132 days in a company during the second year of the course (MSc 2)
RNCP Requirements
What are the requirements
for this qualification?
The conditions for access to the certification scheme (excluding VAE) are :
- For entry into4th year (MSc1): hold a level 6 RNCP qualification and/or have validated the equivalent of 180 ECTS in a course equivalent to the field concerned.
- For entry into the 5th year (MSc2): hold a level 6 RNCP qualification and/or have validated the equivalent of 240 ECTS acquired in a course equivalent to the field concerned.

The Financial Strategy Expert plays a central role in the organisation, advising the company’s management not only on financial and non-financial strategy, but also on its overall strategy and transformation. They have a thorough understanding of their organisation’s economic, legal and tax environment, and manage its financial processes with a high level of expertise to guarantee its financial performance (preparation of financial statements, budgetary processes, management control and cash management).
An expert in financial engineering, he or she manages internal and external growth projects and company disposals by studying investment projects and devising financial packages.
The Financial Strategy Expert manages the Finance teams directly, and works in collaboration with the other departments in the organisation, whether in the context of financial processes, internal control or company transformation projects. Depending on the context in which they work, they also work with external partners such as companies, banks, audit and consultancy firms and government departments, and manage relations with investors, markets and regulatory bodies by ensuring financial communications.
