On average, sports product managers earn €54,000 gross per year. Remuneration depends, however, on the candidate’s years of experience. Beginners can be paid around €30,000 a year. With a few years’ experience, salaries can rise to €4,000 to €5,000 a month. That’s between €48,000 and €60,000 a year.

Remuneration increases with years of service. A marketing product manager may progress to the position of marketing director or sports product manager. They may also work for a larger brand.

Nevertheless, this profession often requires a minimum of 5 years’ higher education. You can access courses at INSEEC specialising in sport , such as the Master of Science in Sports Marketing & Management. At INSEEC, students can take courses that focus on professionalisation. This enables students to acquire the skills they need to understand the world of sport and business. After the course, they obtain a certificate registered with the RNCP and issued by the Ministry of Employment.
