Why change direction?

Reorienting yourself to enhance your skills

You can change direction at INSEEC (Institut des Hautes Etudes Economiques et Commerciales). We offer a variety of programmes leading to professionalisation.

If you are currently employed by a company and would like to move up quickly, there are a number of continuing education options available to you, including 3rd year Bachelor, MSc 1 and MSc 2 programmes:

  • bac +2 to enter a 3rd year Bachelor’s degree course ;
  • bac +3 to enter an MSc 1 ;
  • Bac +4 or Bac +5 to enter an MSc 2.

If you do not have the required level of qualification, the VAP (Validation des Acquis Professionnels) can be an alternative. In this way, you can turn your professional experience into a year of study.

Would you like to turn your professional experience into a qualification? Then there’s VAE, or Validation des Acquis d’Expérience. To do this, you need to provide proof of at least 1 year’s professional experience (full-time) in the sector of the desired certification. You can have a diploma, a title or a certificate of professional qualification.

Reorienting yourself to pursue your passion

You want to change direction because you’ve discovered a new passion. This will contribute to your personal development. To achieve this, you need to follow specific training courses related to your passion. This will enable you to acquire all the knowledge you need to make your project a reality.

Reorientation following redundancy or restructuring

You’ve just been made redundant or the company you work for has been restructured. You want to bounce back effectively by changing direction. However, your professional reintegration may be hampered by a lack of additional training. The solution is continuing training. This type of training is specifically designed for workers.

Reorienting yourself when you’re disappointed with your training or school

You’re demotivated by your current training. You fear failure because you’re in a course that doesn’t suit you. You have the solution: reorientation.

The classic application for the start of the new school year in September

You can change direction by applying to the IAE (Institut d’administration des entreprises), universities and business schools, including INSEEC.

Applying for the staggered or reversed start to the academic year in February

INSEEC is unique in that it offers a reversed start to the academic year and a staggered start to the Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science programmes.

INSEEC’s Bachelor’s programme takes place after the Baccalauréat and lasts 3 years. The aim of this programme is to train future creative and professional managers. You can create your own tailor-made pathway over three years, so that you can build your career plan efficiently and progressively. You can enter in years 1, 2 and 3 if you have a Bac, Bac +1 or Bac +2. The 1st year Bachelor offers a staggered start. You attend classes from February to the end of July. You do 1 month’s work experience in a company, and then go on to Bachelor 2 in September.

In addition, our MSc is a 1 or 2-year post-BAC+3/+4 programme. The aim of INSEEC MSc programmes is to train future professionals who will be directly operational in companies. To achieve this, we favour work-study programmes, which are beneficial for both you and the company that employs you. This alternation favours the professional integration of future INSEEC graduates. The school-company sandwich course takes the form of internships, professional training contracts, apprenticeships or business start-ups.

Our courses are professionally-oriented, to suit students at universities, engineering schools and business schools. The aim is to help you acquire cutting-edge professional skills.

For MSc 1 students, the start of the course is staggered from February to the beginning of July. You then spend 2 months in a company before moving on to the M2.
Bachelors 3 and MSc 2 offer a reversed start. You start with a period in a company. In September, you follow the same courses as the traditional students for 1 year. The academic year then lasts 18 months.
