How long does it take to study tourism marketing?

The duration of tourism marketing studies can vary depending on a number of factors, such as the student’s initial level of study and the type of course chosen.

In general, studies can last between 2 and 5 years after the baccalauréat. Students with a baccalauréat can take a BTS in Tourism (bac +2) or a DUT in Business and Administration Management (bac +2) with a tourism option.

After a bac +2, students can continue their studies in a professional licence (bac +3) or in a licence (bac +3).

To specialise in tourism marketing, students usually need to have completed 5 years of higher education. Students can opt for a Master’s degree (bac +5) or an MSc (Master of Science) (bac +5).
