19,000€ donated to the AFM Telethon by the Students’ Office following sales by 1st year students.
This exceptional amount of €19,000 was raised by the first-year students during their week of field sales, an experience integrated into their training program.
The Student’s Office officially presented the check to the departmental representation of theAFM Telethon, in the presence of the persons in charge of the Bachelor program in Chambéry and of Martial BLANC, departmental coordinator. The objective of the students was to do better than last year, which was a great success since they had collected 12 800 € in 2013.
Martial BLANC warmly thanked the students who mobilized in the streets, shops, businesses and markets of Savoy at the end of November 2014 to sell plush keychains stamped Telethon.
He said that this exercise, renewed now for several years, places this program as the first school in France on the Telethon action.
He also insisted on the fact that this solidarity action would not exist without the involvement of Myriame Desandre, in charge of the program, and of the students, including Mégane Versolatto, Alexandre Armand, Jimmy Girel and Angéline Gelato, members of the Students’ Bureau, who were strongly mobilized for this challenge. The most brilliant students in this commercial exercise: Charline Bonier, Thomas Dufour, Jeanne Murzilli (in the professional course) and Julia Venti (in the ski course at CESNI) were awarded prizes by generous sponsors such as DECATHLON Saint Alban Leysse and BNP PARIBAS!
