What is an MSc in Purchasing & Supply Chain Management?
INSEEC’s MSc in Purchasing & Supply Chain Management is a 1- or 2-year postgraduate programme (Master’s level) taught entirely in English, designed to train future leaders in international procurement and global logistic.
This RNCP Level 7-accredited programme is aimed at students who wish to build a career without borders, in a 100% English-speaking professional environment.
From the very first year, you will master the fundamentals of procurement management, logistics and international trade. In the second year, you will develop your expertise in advanced procurement strategy, supply chain digitalisation and global risk management. Throughout the programme, project-based learning and work placements ensure immediate entry into the international job market.
This programme is taught entirely in English. It is available as a full-time or work-study programme, depending on the campus.

To reflect the practical expertise of our lecturers, the course content may vary slightly depending on the lecturer. The pace of the programme may also differ depending on the campus, the start of the academic year (February or September) and the student’s status — whether they are on a standard internship programme (initial training) or a work-study contract (apprenticeship or vocational training).
The work-study contract must be signed for the entire duration of the MSc 1 + MSc 2 or MSc 2 programme.
How do I complete my MSc in Purchasing & Supply Chain Management?
The one or two-year programme alternates between periods of skills development and periods of practical work experience, whether through full-time study or a work-study scheme.
Course validation
- Each year is completed upon the award of 60 ECTS credits.
- Progression through the MSc programme is achieved by successfully completing each year in turn, resulting in the award of 120 ECTS credits at the end of the two-year programme.
- The certification is awarded upon completion of all the skill modules.
- Each skill within a module must be passed in order to obtain the module (a mark of 10/20 or higher is required for each module).
- It is not possible to partially validate a block.
Requirements for obtaining certification
- Validation of all the core competence modules common to all pathways.
- Completion of a work placement of at least 132 days during the second year of the programme (MSc 2) for students on the initial training pathway.
Assessment criteria
Throughout the programme, regular assessments are carried out to measure progress based on the following criteria:
- Continuous assessment and final exams in the form of mid-term exams held in person.
- Individual and/or group case studies.
- Individual and/or group oral presentations.
- Individual and/or group projects.
- Workplace simulations and business projects.
- Applied research dissertation.

- Open to students who have already obtained, or are in the process of obtaining, a three-year degree (university bachelor’s degree, vocational bachelor’s degree, business school bachelor’s degree, or BUT), equivalent to 180 ECTS credits. The course lasts two years. Applications must be submitted via the online form.
Entry into the second year
- Open to students who have completed or are in the process of completing a four-year degree (Master’s 1, MSc 1, business school or engineering degree), equivalent to 240 ECTS credits. The programme lasts one year. Applications must be made via the online form.

Yes, work-study programmes are available to international students, but subject to certain strict regulatory conditions. To be eligible for a work-study programme in France, you must have resided in France for at least one year.
Consequently, first-year students are not eligible for this scheme upon arrival: the work-study programme will only be available from their second year of study (MSc 2).
