Take on multiple assignments as a Land Developer, requiring versatility.

Identify the most interesting sites for the company’s projects.

Define customer needs and expectations in advance.

Go beyond prospecting by carrying out a technical assessment of the operation and studying the project from every angle.

Analysing the competition as well as the financial, legal and tax aspects in order to assess the profitability of the project.

Negotiate the price if the project proves feasible.

Submit the conclusions and recommendations to Management for decision.

What people particularly like about this job is that it’s virtually impossible to get bored doing it. You have to work both in the field and on the company’s premises. Often, you can even work from home. It offers a certain amount of freedom, but with a common goal that is always well-defined.

The land developer ‘s job is a constantly evolving one, and one that pushes you to excel on a daily basis. It involves a great deal of dynamism, and that’s what makes it such an interesting and exciting job. To top it all off, it’s quite well paid.

As a property developer, you can look forward to a stable source of income. You’ll be well paid, with an annual salary ranging from €35,000 to over €100,000, depending on your efficiency and experience. Very often, you are also entitled to commission. If you excel in your field, you can hope one day to be promoted to a more senior position. For example, you might consider becoming a property development manager or a property programme manager.
