Alexandre Rigaud, 1st year student at ECE Lyon, has just finished his internship in Dubai. He tells us about this experience:
Can you describe your internship?
I did my sales internship in Dubai, in the B2B sales and marketing department of the Radisson Blu Dubai Media City. For a month, I participated in prospecting meetings with potential clients and meetings with former clients to renew contracts with the hotel. This experience allowed me to approach large companies such as Mondelez, Microsoft, IBM, Google (and yes!), Intel and many other “giants” of the media world but also of industries.
I was also able to discover the world of marketing and finance, by participating in brainstorming for the hotel’s communication campaigns and by working on financial plans and “Yield Management”.
Why did you choose ECE Lyon to carry out your studies?
To be brief, I am Franco-Australian and I was born in Hong Kong. I have spent my life traveling from one country to another around the world, whether it be China, the Philippines, Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Gabon, etc. I chose to join ECE Lyon because the school’s curriculum allows me to continue to travel and discover new destinations while developing my professional skills.
Can you introduce us to the page “Briefly… I’m at the ECE”?
Yes, with several students of the ECE Lyon (from 1st to 4th year) we created BRIEF… I am at ECE a Facebook page on which we tell about our daily life abroad and our internships.
