How can I fund my studies with government support?

Does studying at INSEEC make you eligible for CROUS grants?

Yes, BBA, Grande École, Bachelor’s and MSc programmes are authorised to accept students receiving state grants, but subject to certain conditions:

IGE and BBA, all campuses and specialisations
MSc: all specialisations are included at the Bordeaux Campus; at the Lyon Campus, this applies only to programmes leading to the RNCP-accredited MSc in Business Development Management qualification.
Bachelor’s degree: at the Beaune, Lyon and Bordeaux campuses, programmes leading to the RNCP qualifications in Sales Manager, Marketing and Communications Project Manager and Financial Management Manager.

Applications for the means-tested grant can be made online from 15 January. You must submit your application to the CROUS office for the local education authority in which you are currently enrolled.

What discounts and financial support are available from INSEEC?

What is the INSEEC Solidarity Fund?

Financial support awarded to students on Grande École and Bachelor’s degree programmes, based on social and academic criteria and following an assessment of their application.

INSEEC is committed to promoting equal opportunities and supporting high-potential students. The tuition fund was therefore set up to support deserving students facing financial difficulties.

Terms and conditions: the application must be renewed annually with the administrative team. Award of the grant depends on social criteria, as well as attendance and merit.

The amount awarded ranges from €200 to €1,000 per student.

Does INSEEC offer any special scholarships or discounts?

Discount for the French overseas departments and territories and the Caribbean

Yes. A 10 per cent discount applies to any competitive examination taken in the French overseas departments and territories in the year prior to your appointment.

Discount for siblings

Yes. A 10 per cent discount is offered to students who are siblings, provided they are all enrolled at a school within the OMNES Education group.

Scholarship for high marks in the baccalaureate

Yes, for the first year of the BBA and Bachelor’s degree programmes. A 20 per cent discount is granted in the first year to students who have obtained a ‘Très bien’ in their baccalaureate, and a 10 per cent discount to those who have obtained a ‘Bien’. This applies only to students of French nationality residing in France, and only in the year in which they obtain their baccalaureate.

Scholarship for Elite Athletes

Athletes on the Ministry’s list of elite athletes receive a grant of €1,500 each year.

Co-optation appointment

INSEEC students who refer a fellow student to a school within the OMNES Education Group are eligible for a €600 discount on their tuition fees. The referred student is also eligible for the same discount (please contact the admissions office for details of the exact conditions).

Excellence Award for international candidates

International applicants with an excellent academic record may apply to the Admissions Office for a special waiver.

OMNES Education Group Loyalty Discount

Students who have graduated from an OMNES programme are eligible for a 10 per cent discount on first-year tuition fees when they go on to study on another programme within the Group (e.g. MSc1 following a third-year Bachelor’s degree).

Housing Benefit

What financial assistance is available for my housing?

Does the school qualify students for the APL grant?

This is a financial grant available to students who are tenants. All you need to do is apply to your CAF when you sign the tenancy agreement.

Four criteria are taken into account when calculating housing benefit:

Your family structure
Your resources from last year
The amount of your rent or your mortgage repayments on the property that is your main residence
The location of the property

Does the school help students to obtain a student tenancy deposit guarantee?

The Visale guarantee, offered by Action Logement, provides students of legal age with a rent deposit free of charge, with no means test.

Managed by the CROUS, it is available in all school districts and facilitates access to all types of accommodation.

What other forms of housing assistance are available?

ALS (Social Housing Allowance): intended for students who are not eligible for the APL – for EU students and non-EU students receiving grants
Mobili-Jeune: support specifically for work-study students, which can reduce rent by up to €100 a month.
Housing Solidarity Fund (FSL): emergency support for students in financial difficulty.

International Mobility

How can I fund my stay abroad?

What is the ‘Mobility’ grant?

The State Mobility Grant provides financial support, based on means-tested criteria , to students who go abroad to study or undertake a work placement. It helps to reduce the cost of your stay abroad.

What is the Erasmus+ grant?

The Erasmus+ scheme offers financial support, available regardless of income, for your periods of study or work placements in Europe, within the programme’s partner countries.

The amount of the grant is capped and adjusted according to the standard of living in the host country. It varies depending on your destination and the duration of your mobility period.

Are work placements in France and abroad paid?

During their work placements in France or abroad, students may find or negotiate a remuneration package.

In France, work placements lasting more than two months must be remunerated at a minimum rate of €4.50 per hour, or €693 per month (2026 pay scale).

Internationally, this requirement does not always apply. Companies therefore often offer benefits in kind, such as accommodation, a travel pass or assistance with visa costs.

What is the Student Mobility Pass?

The Student Mobility Pass entitles the holder, subject to certain conditions, to have the cost of one return flight per academic or school year covered.

What is the Jacques Lambert Foundation Scholarship (Fondation de France)?

The Jacques Lambert Foundation Scholarship is a study grant awarded to young people admitted to the first year of a business school, selected on the basis of academic and social criteria. This scholarship is exclusively for students of French nationality.

What is the first-time equipment allowance?

The initial equipment grant is a one-off payment intended to help students fund the purchase of equipment required for their studies (computers, professional equipment, etc.).

This grant is awarded on the basis of means-tested criteria and applications should be made to the CROUS. The amount varies depending on the student’s circumstances and the nature of the equipment required.
