What subjects are covered during a BTS MCO?

At the end of the BTS MCO, you should be able to manage the operations of a commercial unit, define and lead a commercial offer, and manage your customer relations. To do this, you will take various courses during your two years of BTS, such as :

  • economic, legal and managerial culture ;
  • operational management ;
  • developing customer relations and sales advice and promotion, boosting the commercial offering ;
  • managing the sales team.

Thanks to these subjects, you will become versatile and will be able to adapt easily to different structures. However, business and sales also mean international business and exchanges with foreign countries! To prepare you for working in a multicultural environment, the BTS includes courses in modern foreign languages, general culture and expression. You’ll also be able to take optional courses in foreign language communication and international business skills.

Where can I go on to study after a BTS MCO?

The BTS prepares you for rapid integration into the world of work. However, don’t forget that this is a 2-year higher education diploma and that you also earn 120 ECTS credits. This means you can continue your studies if you wish to specialise further and consider positions of greater responsibility.
