With the world’s largest French-speaking university and a host of renowned schools, Marseille has been attracting increasing numbers of young French and international students for years. Whatever your profile or plans, choosing Marseille as your home will give you access to a wide range of educational opportunities and facilities. In particular, you can visit the famous Alcazar library near La Canebière. As a student, you can take advantage of an annual subscription for 6 euros.

A well-developed and efficient transport network

To get out and about in Marseille, you can rely on a comprehensive public transport network. The city has two metro lines, three tram lines and a multitude of bus routes. Sports enthusiasts will be delighted to find more than a hundred self-service bicycle stations, enabling them to explore every corner of the city! Last but not least, from March to September, there are ferry services between l’Estaque, the Old Port, Pointe-Rouge and les Goudes.

Its exceptional geographical location means that it enjoys beautiful sunny days all year round and an extremely pleasant climate. And if you like to recharge your batteries, Marseille is full of magnificent natural areas. The region’s Calanques need no introduction, offering visitors a dazzling spectacle. Among the best known are the Calanques of En-Vau, Sugiton and Marseille-Veyre. Set between land and sea, Marseille’s gentle pace of life is truly enchanting.

The city also boasts a rich history and a variety of museums, including the Cantini Museum, the Natural History Museum and the MUCEM, dedicated to Mediterranean civilisations.

What higher education courses does INSEEC offer in Marseille?

At its Marseille campus, INSEEC will be offering a range of higher education courses from bac +2 to bac +5. The traditional start dates are between September and October. However, some courses will also be available on a delayed start basis, which means that you can join INSEEC during the year from February onwards. This is an interesting solution for students wishing to change direction without losing a year.
