The MSc e-Health Management course

By 2050, the number of people over 60 will more than double, and there will be four times as many people over 80 worldwide as there are today. This demographic evolution will simultaneously increase the pressure on the financing of the health system, on the physical capacity to receive patients, and on the availability of personnel. The answer to these issues is known. The aim is to enable as many seniors as possible to age well at home and in good health. To achieve this, the healthcare system is changing and evolving towards a personalized, participative, preventive and predictive medicine, with the aim of limiting the number of situations requiring specific care.

However, scientists and engineers are developing quality e-health solutions that are becoming less and less expensive. And yet the adoption of these new tools in the field is not immediate or does not find strong support. It is therefore necessary to train health professionals in these new uses, aware of the new experience of patients.

The Master of Science in e-Health Management (bac+5), a course recognised as level 7 by the National Register, is supervised by Serge Guérin, a sociologist and specialist in issues related to ageing and the “seniorisation” of society. The majority of the faculty is made up of recognized professionals, such as hospital directors, business analysts, e-health start-ups and directors of institutions for the elderly (EHPAD).

During the course, students will be able to optimize the intervention of the actors (caregivers, etc.) within the health care pathway by preserving the quality of care and the quality of the relationship with the patients; integrate the digital transformation while guaranteeing the security and protection of health data.

Finally, this MSc is strongly integrated into the “Health Start-Up” eco-system with events linked to the “Adrenaline” accelerator of the OMNES Education group.
