Freshly graduated from the MSc Marketing and Sport Management, obtained on the campus of Chambéry, Antoine Dalmasso feels ready to enter the job market. He outlines some perspectives for us. In particular, he talks about his current experience at the world’s biggest tennis tournament, Roland Garros.

Sport was a real passion. It is quite natural that Antoine Dalmasso wanted to finish his studies by specializing in this field.

Coming from a degree in Economics – Management at university, I had no knowledge, apart from my own personal knowledge, on the different sectors of activity that make up the sports industry. I mainly remember that these two years of Master’s degree allowed me to acquire, develop and deepen my knowledge on concrete cases related to the world of sports, presents the young graduate.

Antoine has nothing but positive things to say about his two years at INSEEC in Chambery.

” I remember several things.
At the academic level, the diversity of subjects related to the sports industry allows us to discover, deepen and perfect our knowledge of all the sectors of activity that make up the sports industry.
We come out with a wide range of knowledge learned during these two years of Master. Knowledge that is essential for working in this sector in the future.
Secondly, at the professional level, thanks to the alternation program, which allows students to leave school with two full years of professional experience. This represents a real argument and a concrete asset in the eyes of our future employers. This makes it easier for us to find a job that is within our reach. ”

He also took the opportunity to thank the school administration in particular.

” I really want to thank the members of the school. The director, David Bouvier, Mrs. Visentin and my Master supervisor, Mr. Dupraz. As soon as we entered, Mr. Dupraz integrated us and took us in hand. This is to make you feel at home, that you are never alone, always surrounded. This is one of the strengths of the Master. Our manager was always available and responsive. Whether it is to help us in our search for a work-study program or for any other academic or professional reasons. “

In the middle of the French Open !

First of all, Antoine Dalmasso perfected his skills on the Roland-Garros center court.

” I am delighted to have been able to join the French Tennis Federation for the second consecutive year for the Roland Garros tournament, as Sales Manager. After this second experience at Roland-Garros, my future project is to go abroad for at least one year. This is to discover the world and to have professional experiences at the international level in the world of sports. The goal is to come back with a lot of memories and to reinforce my employability. ”

And after ?

” My ambition is to find a position of responsibility in a sector of activity that I am passionate about ; business development, marketing, events or sports sponsorship. The icing on the cake would be if I could integrate one of these positions within a federation or a professional sports club. That’s what I’m most passionate about and interested in. My two years of Master and my thesis on the French Football Federation, allowed me to create a nice network and to open some doors in the world of professional soccer. Hopefully it will continue! ”

A true model to follow !
