The objective of the Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Transactions and Property mMerchant is to train students for jobs related to real estate transactions and property dealers for network agencies, firms or independent structures, housing organizations, developers or companies specializing in the field. This sector of activity is currently undergoing changes in several distinct segments: commercial real estate, shopping centres and premises, investment real estate, tax exemption and “paper stone”, more frequent use of SCI (real estate investment company) type structures, residential real estate, etc. New standards are multiplying (e.g. technical certification of materials, thermal standards, etc.). The result is a real need for professionals who are able to master the many particularities of this market.

At the end of the training, students will be able to evolve in the real estate sector, which continues to develop.

A diploma course in 1, 2 or 3 years to train in real estate and property sales

Holders of a BAC can enter the 1st year Bachelor, holders of a BAC+1 the 2nd year Bachelor and those with a BAC+2 the 3rd year Bachelor. The Bachelor’s degree welcomes students from a variety of backgrounds: BTS, RNCP level 5 qualifications, DUT, preparatory classes, Licence 2.

The Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Transactions and Property Merchant trains students in the fundamentals of real estate. It prepares them to join either an agency or a department dedicated to the commercialization, development or marketing of real estate products. The ultimate goal is to master the technical, legal, financial, methodological and commercial aspects of real estate business management.

In a competitive and constantly developing environment, the Bachelor’s program in Real Estate Transactions & Property Dealers is designed to help students develop a first network of professional contacts, so that they master the various real estate legislations.

The program trains professionals in rental management, real estate transactions and condominium management. This training leads to the professions of management assistant, VEFA salesman, property trader, real estate agency director, management manager, land marketer and real estate expert.

The3rd year course can be done in alternation. Students will have the opportunity to work in a company and learn in real-life situations.

The objective of this module is to understand the financial objectives and the role of accounting in its legal and economic context and as applied to the real estate sector. It also consists of mastering the fundamental principles of accounting modeling. Finally, it is a question of discovering and understanding the accounting impact of the main operations related to the activity of a company through its financial statements.

1 or 2 entries per year and an alternating study rhythm

Each year, the start of the 3rd year Bachelors’ programme takes place in September. Most campuses also offer a staggered start in February.

The course rhythm is 3 days/2 days for 6 months and then 6 months full time in a company.

This rhythm is the same whether the learner is in initial training (internship) or in continuing education (professionalization/apprenticeship).

What are the prerequisites to enter the Bachelor program?

  • To enter the first year, you must hold a baccalaureate (all sections) or a Diplôme d’Accès aux Études Universitaires (DAEU), recognized as level 4;
  • For integration into the second year: it is necessary to have validated 60 ECTS in a sector considered to be identical in terms of skills to that of the course or to have validated 120 ECTS at level 5 or equivalent in the field concerned;
  • For integration into the third year: it is necessary to have validated a 120 ECTS or a level 5 in a sector considered to be identical in terms of competencies to that of the course or to have validated 180 ECTS of level 5 or equivalent in the field concerned.

Evaluation methods

The three years of the program alternate between concept acquisition and practical application.

Each semester is validated by the award of 30 ECTS credits. Progression through the Bachelor’s program is achieved by validating the semesters one after the other, i.e. 180 ECTS credits acquired at the end of the 3-year program. The evaluation of the students’ knowledge acquisition is done through continuous controls followed by mid-term and final evaluations at the end of each semester.

  • The evaluation methods are face-to-face, in the form of continuous assessment or final exams in the form of mid-term exams.
