What is your educational background?

Amelie:
After a literary baccalaureate and a passion for foreign languages, I decided to study for a BTS in International Trade at the Lycée St-Ambroise in Chambéry.

During these 2 years, I had the opportunity to familiarize myself with the world of international trade, especially through very rewarding internshipss. I have performed a first internship in Miami Beach for 3 months, and a second in an export department in France.

After these two years, I continued with a Bac+3 accompanied by a 6-month internship in an industrial company in Aix-en-Provence. Then, I chose to do a Master’s degree in work-study, atINSEEC Chambéry. During my work-study in Switzerland, with Von Rundstedt & Partner Suisse SA, I did a MSc 1 in International Marketing and MSc 2 in Marketing & Brand Management. Thes two years being in ” full English“. “

What do you remember about your time at INSEEC Campus in Chambéry?

Amelie:
L’INSEEC has allowed me to strengthen both my technical knowledge and my personal skills. Surrounded by experts speakers in their respective sectors of activity, I was able to a lot learn thanks to their their business experiences.

What is your current job?

Amelie:
I am currently Office Manager at Von Rundstedt & Partner. I am in charge of all the operational management of the Geneva office, from the reception of the customers to the creation of supports communication and events. I am also in charge of team building activities and daily team building.

Finally, a little advice for our future students who read you…

Amelie:
I wish share my motivational phrase that has been with me for years, which is “Believing in yourself is almost succeeding”. You have to give yourself the means to get what you want, both personally and professionally.

It is possible to work in addition to your studies. It is possible to do a Master’s degree in English without being bilingual. It’s also possible to get a permanent contract after graduation!

And a big point of honor that I’d like to share is that just because your degree has the term “Marketing” or “Marketing” or “Brand Management” doesn’t mean you should absolutely try to fit into that professional box... It is important to know how to differentiate between a field of activity and a sector of activity. For example, in my case, my company’s business is human resources, but my day-to-day business is marketing! “
