In the third year of the Bachelor’s program on the INSEEC U. Campus, students had a choice of eight specializations. Chambéry campus, students had the choice of eight specializations this year. One of them, the B3 “Luxury”, aims to immerse students in the general culture of luxury: origins, history, semantics, main luxury sectors, economy, emerging luxury markets, marketing of luxury products, etc. By acquiring an approach to the codes of luxury in the third year, students can then specialize in a particular sector by pursuing a Master’s degree: hotels, jewelry, automobiles, fashion, beauty, etc. As part of their program, our five B3-Luxury students had the chance to be received in the most beautiful five star hotel in France which is located… in Chambéry! The Petit Hôtel Confidentiel was founded by Charlotte Reyes-Million and her husband, in this magnificent place full of history that was “La Vieille Boutique”, dear to the people of Chambéry, once frequented by Jean-Jacques Rousseau. On Monday, December 3, the students had the chance to discover the Petit Hôtel Confidentiel decked out in its holiday finery.

An invitation to luxury, calm and pleasure

The owner of the place has opened to the students a dozen suites with a cozy atmosphere and comfort. In an almost hieratic silence, Emmanuelle, Flavie, Constance, Nesma and Candice walked on the soft floors, sometimes pure white, sometimes ebony black, and observed with admiration the decoration of each place. “I was passionate about imagining and arranging the decoration of each room,” Charlotte Reyes-Million told them. After this luxurious visit of the suites and the SPA, a Christmas snack awaited the students in the lobby. On the table, some tasty chocolate treats clementines selected by the MOF Botti of Chambéry, a cake made by the pastry chef Relay serves Cedric Pernot from Faithful Shepherd and a hot apple juice flavored with star anise that warmed the students and gave way to the confidences of Charlotte on her vision of luxury (availability, precision, kindness and attention). A real enchanted interlude, very much appreciated by the students…
