This year, Business Week brought together more than 100 partner companies on the Bordeaux campus.

An exceptional trio for the inauguration of the Business Week

INSEEC U. Bordeaux had the pleasure to receive Nicolas Florian, Mayor of Bordeaux, accompanied by Nicolas Beraud, CEO of Betclic, as well as Laurent Marti, President of UBB, who were able to honor the city and its attractiveness.

The Mayor of Bordeaux spoke about the economic dynamism of the area, which is driven by students, start-ups and companies such as Betclic that have set up shop here. Bordeaux, a city initially known mainly for its quality of life, has evolved. Today qualified as an international metropolis, Nicolas Florian wishes to breathe new life into the city in order to increase its capacity to create wealth and ensure the modernity of new uses without forgetting the fact that Bordeaux is among the first cities in France to create the most jobs.

Nicolas Beraud, CEO of Betclic and Laurent Marti, President ofUBB, also honored us with their presence by leading the second part of this conference. Each of them, through their respective experiences, shared with the students the challenge that brought them together in this 21st edition of the Business Week; that of establishing and developing their companies in Bordeaux.

According to Laurent Marti, the equation is perfect. Indeed, the new generation of students has a strong capacity to undertake. In addition, the Bordeaux network of companies is constantly growing. These two elements inevitably lead to a strong economic expansion of the territory.

The conferences continued during the morning with the intervention of Maxime Tassin, Director of Strategy at CDISCOUNT, who spoke on the theme of e-commerce: market trends at the global level, new players, the influence of data and of course the strategy developed within the French e-commerce leader.

Finally, we addressed an equally topical issue: CSR. Bruno Aujard, CSR & Patronage delegate at Orange who spoke about the place of CSR policy within companies. He explained the objectives, the multiple issues and the expected effects.

Develop your network

During the afternoon, a speed-recruiting event took place, allowing students to meet and exchange with the numerous partner companies gathered and registered for the event. Were present for the occasion: AT INTERNET, CIC SUD OUEST, CHATEAU DE CERONS, HIVENTIVE, PLAIMONT, COTE OUEST, DELIVEROO, MILLESIMA – GROUPE BERNARD, BETCLIC, NEXTON, AQUILOGIA PATRIMOINE, CHATEAU ANGELUS, BERNARD MAGREZ LUXURY WINE EXPERIENCE, UNION DES GRANDS CRUS DE BORDEAUX, COLOC 33, BEAUTY SUCCESS, INFLUA, AUCHAN RETAIL FRANCE, and many others.
