Sébastien Ruda, a graduate, has a background in marketing and communication. He looks back on his career.

Support for the professional project

After graduation, we are often a bit lost as to what our professional project will be. By joining the INSEEC Bachelor Chambéry (at the time EGC Savoie), I discovered not only an affinity for communication, but I was also able to build my professional project thanks to daily support from the teaching staff.

By focusing its program on sales techniques, marketing, law and communication, the INSEEC Bachelor Chambéry allows us to build our professional project step by step by developing skills that will be essential later on.

The school also allowed me to develop my creativity through the publication of an internal newspaper, to support associative projects and events, or to participate in enriching events thanks to the numerous partner companies of the school. I was also able to discover the business world through numerous professional experiences.

From communication to international

“I had the chance to evolve within the event agency Poisson d’Avril, to develop my commercial skills at ESM or to try my hand at animation and cultural activities within the Tourist Office of Aix-les-Bains . My time at INSEEC was truly a major step in the direction of my professional projects.

Freshly graduated, Sébastien continues his career within the SNCF group as a project manager in work-study, allowing him to validate in parallel a 5-year degree in management and corporate communication. He then joined the Lalliard group as marketing and communication manager.

As an undisputed fan of new experiences, it was only natural that Sébastien seized the opportunity to fly more than 16,000 km away from here, to the land of the kangaroos. He will live a thousand mile an hour experience where he will develop his ability to adapt and his language skills, which will allow him to acquire real self-confidence.

Next step : a new job !

Just back from Australia, I started 2015 with the desire to join a dynamic team for a long-term experience. My desire is to demonstrate my motivation, but also and above all to be able to stand out from my competitors. So I decided to approach my applications in an offbeat and original way by creating a website le-petit-nouveau.com which serves as a showcase for me to recruiters. It’s a real bias and I’m getting a lot of positive feedback today.
A word of advice: I especially invite you not to lack creativity!”
