Louise-Camille, can you introduce yourself in a few words?

My name is Louise-Camille MITHIEUX and I am 21 years old. I am currently in my2nd year of a Bachelor’s degree in International Business at INSEEC in Chambéry. After graduating with my BAC S euro in 2018, I decided to go to medical school. This project did not correspond to me, so I decided to reorient myself.

In the meantime, I worked and went abroad, to a faculty in Toronto (Canada) to improve my English level. The experience was very enriching both in terms of learning the language and on a personal level. Then, I joinedINSEEC Campus Chambéry, the proposed course allowing me to acquire skills in various fields such as finance, marketing and communication. I was thus able to refine my professional project.

Rigorous, smiling and autonomous, I have already had many professional experiences since the age of 16, notably in industry and in sales. My experience was enriched at INSEEC. I discovered a new field, the world of volunteering, during sports events such as the ” Martin Fourcade Nordic Festival “, or charity events in which I participated. Thanks to these experiences, I am the referent of an association dedicated to the management of volunteers at INSEEC. I am developing my network, management and organizational skills.

In parallel to my studies, I work in the company IRIS Rhône Alpes. The objective is to carry out a feasibility study for the creation of the GEIQ* Numérique des Alpes. The creation of this GEIQ took place in January 2022, a new adventure begins!

What is the GEIQ and why did you join the IRIS Rhône-Alpes company?

It is an association of companies on a territory which, in order to meet recruitment needs, relies on the potential of job seekers, with or without qualifications.

Its missions: to recruit candidates, to make them available to member companies under professionalization contracts to ensure their progress, to set up the AFEST (Action de Formation En Situation de Travail), and to carry out a socio-professional follow-up.

The objective is twofold! On the candidate’s side, obtaining a certified and recognized diploma is linked to the opportunity to enter the professional world in the long term. On the company side, respond to its recruitment issues by integrating an employee trained in the company’s values and techniques.

I joined IRIS Rhône Alpes in April 2021 for my long internship in my first year of Bachelor. The mission was to carry out a feasibility study for the creation of a GEIQ dedicated to the digital professions on the territory of the 2 Savoie. Accompanied by a caring and educational team, I was able to acquire many skills. For example, telephone canvassing, writing, organization of General Assembly, creation of an association, professional meetings… I was lucky that the team trusted me and allowed me to take initiatives. This allowed me to develop a professional position.

Then, after my internship, I joined the IRIS Rhône Alpes team to continue the project until its completion.

Is your professional project starting to take shape?

Today, as a second year student, my professional project is beginning to take shape.

I would like to specialize in corporate finance because it is a field I love. My various experiences have allowed me to better understand my strengths and weaknesses. This assessment confirmed my choice of finance, where rigor, organization and interpersonal skills are all required. In the long term, my objective would be a position as Administrative and Financial Director, if possible in a local company that honors regional know-how or products.

I really enjoyed my experience at IRIS Rhône Alpes and I would like to continue my studies in a work-study program. Having developed a wide range of skills: communication, English, marketing, finance and law, I think I can bring a different perspective to the company that will welcome me.
