This water polo fan, originally from Metz, is currently studying for an MSc 2 in Business Engineering & Business Development at the Chambéry campus.
At the same time, Hugo Rinaldi was junior sales manager at Darty in Chambéry. Focus on a sporty, lively and passionate journey !

At 26 years old, Hugo has a life… very sportive ! Started very early.

” I passed my economic and social baccalaureate at the National Institute of Sport, Expertise and Performance (INSEP) in Paris, as part of a high-level sportsman curriculum. This two-year experience in this training center which trains French champions every year was really intense and full of emotions on the sports and academic level. ”

So much for the decor!

” Afterwards, I took a two-year break from school. In order to live my passion for water polo at 100% and to join professional clubs (Noisy-le-Sec in the Paris region, then Strasbourg).
Going to school has always been a goal. After this interruption, I decided to join the University of Bordeaux in Economics and Social Studies. However, the pace of college was not in line with my pursuit of the sport. So I tried to find a school that offered a schedule adapted to the sport and in line with the pursuit of higher education, presents the student employee.

He joined CESNI in Chambéry in 2015. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree, while continuing to play water polo with the Aix-les-Bains team in the 2nd French division of water polo (7 training sessions per week).

Become a sales manager

With his studies still in mind, Hugo decided to continue with an MSc in work-study. Still at INSEEC Chambéry.

” I studied international marketing in English in myfirst year. While this year is specialized in business engineering and business development. I joined the Darty company in September 2019 as a junior sales manager. For me, the work-study program was an opportunity to acquire professional skills, while having the chance to continue my studies as far as possible, says this travel enthusiast.

” My position is key in a sales floor. It requires a lot of skill and determination. Indeed, it includes many missions such as managing a team, selling, negotiating, analyzing and training employees, merchandising, and many other missions. I am lucky to have a tutor (Philippe CEGLINSKI, director of the Chambéry store) who has a lot of confidence in the students. Every day, he passes on to me his extensive experience in the retail sector. And the whole team welcomed me very well !   ”

In the short term, Hugo hopes to join a Darty store as a permanent sales manager, starting in September 2021.
