Currently enrolled in MSc 2 Big Data and Financial Engineering on the   campus in Chambéry, Lise Vivenot is doing her work-study in the operational management control department of EDF Hydraulics.

She presents us her journey. And talks about his career plans after graduation.

After an STMG baccalaureate with a management option, Lise, 24 years old, decided to pursue a DUT GEA in Mulhouse. And this already in alternation within the EDF company.

She then opted for a professional degree in accounting and management. Then a Master 1 in Corporate Finance, at INSEEC Campus in Chambéry.

” I joined INSEEC to become even more professional. That’s how I chose to follow my second year of master in Big Data and Financial Engineering. This is a field I didn’t know at all. I notice in passing that this is an area that I can apply to my daily work .

Management control… or project management

Passionate about skiing but also about going out with friends, Lise enjoys life to the fullest.

Motivated and conscientious, she is already perfectly in tune with her professional project. She always sees this one in the management control or in the project management.

” I can see myself continuing in management control. I would also like to discover project management. In any case, I feel good at EDF. I have been with this large company for 5 years now. I really aspire to become even more professional, so that I can fully understand the challenges of this new field. ”

Particularly motivated but above all well prepared, Lise is in the starting-blocks! Because whatever the case, Big Data is becoming an extremely prized and very promising field on the job market.

Data processing is gradually becoming a priority for companies, and new professions are emerging.

The Big Data & Marketing Manager course is aimed at students who have completed a Bac+4 and have a basic knowledge of marketing, statistics and database management.

It is also aimed at engineers or professionals undergoing retraining, wishing to participate in the digital transition of a company in all sectors of activity (energy, transport, banking, commerce, security, defense, etc.).
