Currently enrolled in MSc 1 Sport Management on the campus in Chambéry, Lou David is also in charge of communications for the Andrézieux soccer club. This last has just been noticed by its exploit in the French Cup, by beating Olympique de Marseille. The student takes us behind the scenes of this great soccer moment.
” When a draw like the one for OM was announced, everyone’s excitement was at its peak, players, employees and volunteers alike! Pulling a league 1 club was a great first for our club. We had to work on the organization of this game in a time reduced by the Christmas vacations.
An organization all the more difficult because we could not play in our stadium of Envol Stadium. This for security reasons due to the possible presence of Marseille ultras. There have also been several problems to play at the Geoffroy Guichard Stadium.
On my side, I am in charge of the communication on the networks and on the website. I also take care of the creation of posters and visuals. For press relations, I was assisted by a former journalist. He managed all press requests and conferences. I managed all accreditation requests. About 300 were distributed, passing from OM staff members to the prefecture. In contact with the FFF, I also managed the cleanning stadium and the animations on the giant screens.
The stage was thus set. And the tasks are very interesting for this sports enthusiast. Lou appreciates, at Inseec, the contact with the professionals in class :

Andrézieux will play in its stadium
Very structured internally, the club will welcome in its Envol stadium the neighbor of Lyon-Duchère, for the 16th final of the French Cup. Lou will obviously be on deck again. Just to continue its professionalization.
” This kind of incredible event to experience only confirms my desire to work in this field. And even more so in soccer! I have been fond of this sport for a long time. I would like to be a communications officer, or manage the press relations of a big soccer club. I wish to continue to live these emotions close to the action.
