What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with the first official tournament debate of the year?
On February 14th, the team of theInstitut Supérieurde l’Aéronautiqueet de l’Espace(Sup’Aéro – Toulouse) came to meet the speakers of theINSEEC Bachelor.
For their first debate of the French Debating Association tournament, students competed in English on the famous quote by Mahatma Gandy: ” This House Would ‘Live As If You Were To Die Tomorrow ‘”. (Fr: This house wants you to live as if you were to die tomorrow). The team had to defend the theme.
After a very close match, under the eyes of their classmates, teachers, members of the administration and even former members of the team, our speakers unfortunately lost 2 to 1 to the Toulousans. Nevertheless, our ” Prime Minister ” Divya, the opening speaker, won the award for best speaker of the evening!

On February 26th, theINSEEC Bachelor team will meet theEcole Normale Supérieure. A landslide victory would allow them to finish in2nd place in their pool and continue the competition!
The students will compete, in the ENS premises, on the following theme ” This House Believes that Science Will Save Us “. (Fr : This house thinks that science will save us).
